  batch capturing clips in 4.5 keep getting Error, Error I/O

  Help

  Im trying to batch capture some clips in 4.5… I keep getting into the clip and then it stops. message reads Error and then the clip stops. At the bottom of the capture window the error message reads Error I/O. I’ve tried restarting a couple of times. I even trashed the preferences list, restarted and tried again. This last time I got the about 21 minutes into the tape before the error message. Tried different tapes from the project and the same thing. Never had this happen before. Help! I’ve got a looooooming deadline and I’m stuck!
  Gear is G4 Powerbook laptop 80g, 1.6 gig ram…capturing to Maxtor 160 gig firewire/usb 2.0 drive.
