  Radeon Card

  I am getting a new ATI Radeon X800XT carfd for my G5 dual 2. I have a new 23″ Apple and a 20″ Apple. Can I connect the LCDs right to the card without any other connectors? I see that the card has one Dual Link DVI and one ADC port.

  You will need an adapter unless one of these displays is the older “plastic bezel” model with the ADC connector. The new metal bezel models have a DVI connector.

  But what is the Dual Link DVI on the card?

  The dual link DVI is used to connect Apple’s 30″ display, which won’t run on anything else. You’ll need an ADC to DVI adapter for your second display. This is a pretty common adapter available at any Apple retailer.
