  Logging transcripts in Final cut

  Is it possible to log whole tapes in final cut with all the time codes, I know you can log clips any idears or do i need another program

  One worlflow is to capture the entire tape and then use the Subclip function (mark in/out then CMD+U) to break the clip into subclips. If your capturing DV then you can use the Detect DV Start/Stop function (in the Mark Menu) to automatically add markers where ever the camera stopped and started. After that you can convert the markers into sublips. See the manual or help file for more details.
