  • Tif Sequence out of FCP different from SOURCE

Not sure if you guys have experienced this problem or not, but I am currently trying to do some testss where I export a TIF sequence out from FCP, most of the outputs have been fine except I have found that clips which have been slow-mo’d aren’t outputing propperly. the tifs when brought back in seem’s cleaner , it’s as if the motion blur on the original clip was not applied when it was output to the tif sequence. It also looks like the frame is (possible due to the lack of motion blur) off by a bit in terms of the picture in the frame.

FYI – the tif sequence was output via FCP->quicktime conversion ->file seq.

I am working with 1920×1080 files.

    Hope someone can help….

Might try exporting the speed changed clip as a self-contained QuickTime Movie, then exporting a tiff sequence of that file?

thx Jery, actually I tried something similar, I have exported to a self contained QT file and re imported over the original sequence, same thing…

it’s like the frame blending applied tothe clip is not applied to the exported tif/mov

doesn’t erally matter, I’ve been told the difference is too minute to tell any how, just bugs me ’tis all 🙂
