I have a slight problem. Im running on a Dual 2.5 ghz G5 and have 2.5 Gb DDR SDRAM and i use Final Cut Pro 5 Hd. My Problem is that i work as an onliner and editors are working offline in other rooms with their Powerbook labtops and external hardrives. When they bring their external drives and sequences to me i open them and everything is fine except for one thing, speed. When someone changes a clip speed in their offline computers it looks fine on their monitor. When i recieve the sequence and the hard drive, the clips that have different speeds playback like they have a interlace problem (interlace lagg), becaus when i play it backwards it plays fine. I’ve tried compare my settings in final cut to theirs, f.x in render controle i have and i make them select “Frame blending for speed”, and i always make them select frameblending when applying speed to clips. At first i was allways getting this problem but when i made everyone use the same settings it got better but the problem didnt go entirely, i still get sometimes clips with these issuse.

There has to be something that im doing wrong becaus sometimes its good and sometimes its not. Im not expecting an answer that has the solution to this but any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    Best regards.
