Is there a way to copy a keyframe within an effect and paste it a few second later in the same effect?

I want to be able to move the screen, then have it hold for a few seconds then move some where else. Typically, you would place a keyframe at the point where you want the screen to stop, and another keyframe with exactly the same coordinates a few seconds later. I don’t seem to find this function within FCP 4.5

Is my approach to this funtion incorrect?

    Thanks,

    sorry, but no,

you cant copy keyframes in FCP.

a slightly different approach would be to keyframe your start position,
    then your hold position.
then add another keyframe to begin the second part of the move, then add your final keyframe.

Why not blade the clip and then copy/paste attributes from the first half of the clip. That can be done, no?
