  Out of sync using FS-4 and FCP 5 and Quicktime 7

  Using a firestore FS -4 and bringing in to the computer using Quicktime 7. Quicktimes are way out of sync. Camera is set to 24p. Bringing quicktimes into FCP and they are much better but still out of sync….. Any Ideas.

  How are they captured to the firestore? What codec?

  Is the sync loss constant? can you shift the audio in the timeline and it stays in sync, or does it drift?

  (Who said editing was easy?)
