  Adding Auxiliary Timecode

  Has anyone added an auxiliary timecode to a clip? I’m syncing and merging video clips to backup audio, and running into weird sync problems when I use the Trim Edit Window. I think the problems I’m experiencing stem from the video and audio not matching. Would the solution be to add an auxiliary timecode to the audio track to match the video tc?
  Any help is appreciated.
