  Frame Split

  Hello,
  I am getting frame split when I capture from SDI. This cut comes randomly on my clips.

  If I see frame by frame there is jump in the timecode also from frame 09 to frame 12(Just an eg) here the image is seen as a horizontal cut of that frame from any where.

  My System G5 Dual 2.0 Mac 10.7.3 ghz FCP 4.5 HD, Cinewave 4.5,

  I’ve just encountererd a similar issue having upgraded my G5. When digitizing SDI via my AJA IO, I occasionally get digital hits that look a bit like dropouts on old Beta SP tapes, except that it’s usually a pink, green or orange horizontal line. I’m talking to AJA about it today. Let me know if this sound like your problem and I will follow up with you.
