Using the correct still image size
(I probably aked this before but I can’t find it in the search nor profile).
We need to turn a comic book into a funky (client’s term) edited piece. We will be provided with still images either in tiff or jpeg.
What is the ideal still image size for handling FCP5/G5?
How can I prevent the sometimes ‘shiny flickering’ on the images surface? (applying motion blur filter does not solve this).Thank you.

And since NTSC can’t reproduce the resolution of a computer,
its easily possible to create graphics that a too complex to read-well on video.Gaussian Blur is the blur to use to reduce “image buzz”.
Set it to a low number (between .25 to 2.5 is a good start). -
