Has anyone tried to use Compressor to batch-process QT movies for the Video iPod? QT Pro is slower than Christmas….

I did try this using the settings on apples website, but the h.264 videos it spat out would not play on the ipod
they worked fine in QT and iTunes though.

I was able to get MPEG4 videos to work with no problems.

I would really like h.264 to work because I have hundreds of product videos that we want to put on an Ipod for demo (and h.264 looks so much better, especially with camera moves)

if I get it to work I will post a droplet on my website for people to Download.

if anyone else has already done this any help would be great!

    Thanks
    Chris

it is on the tech specs page for the Video Ipod (scroll down about half way)

    https://www.apple.com/ipod/specs.html

they also have a tutorial on using quicktime to convert video, and on the bottom of that page it lists the formats
    ipod will accept.

    https://www.apple.com/quicktime/tutorials/creatingvideo.html

    Thanks
