  Still Images loos attributes

  I’m doing a project in FCP 5.03 consisting of nothing but still images (mostly TGA, but some JPG and PICT) I have moation effects and keyframes on many of the images. When I save the project and reopen it, it will loose it’s keyframes and moation effects and the image will go back as it was scanned. Sometime the image will suddenly have about 50 color effects on it. This has happened more than a few times. Any ideas?

  A great way to do this is to use “FCP Rescue” a free Apple Script that will Trash the Preferences for you (and restore nearly all of your user settings afterward).
  There are versions for FCP (Pro) & FCE (Express) and a new one for FCP 5.

  Thaks for the reply. I’ve tried that, I’ve also tried different computers and trashing all the renders and re-rendering. Is there a format I should stick to when using stills?
