  Codec questions and shifting levels

  I having a shift in levels and I cannot figure out why, I have Googled until my fingers bled, so I need to go to the experts.

  I am supplied with short (under one minute) Mov file with the BlackMagic 8-bit codec that leads into a still tiff. There is a shift between the Mov and the tiff that I correct for with a levels adjust filter (Gamma=1.19). Does FCP handle tiff
