I have some issues with my old LT and Motion files linking properly and I would like to just try installing Quicktime7 again. Can I do this without losing my pro key? I don’t see it on the Studio install disk. Is it possible or do I have to install FCP again, or everything. Please help if you can. Thanks, John

Not sure at all that reinstalling QT will help with the linking problem…

Which version of FCP and OS are you running?

Tiger with the latest FCP Studio. I reopened about 10 files yesterday, copy and pasted in a new project, saved over the old one and rendered. All was fine till today and they all went offline again, or should I say “Media Missing In Live Type File”. They look OK in the browser. Should I re-install FCP 5.0?
