• Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy

  Rendering and unlimited RT ! WEIRD

  OK, I think I knew well final cut pro…

  but now i’m getting upset for a little ssssstupid thing !!

  Everytimes I try to render all or only a selection…(wathever if it’s a needs or a preview render), Final cut pro try but stop in a second.

  I cant do it by the shortcuts (apple+R or alt+R)
  but I can do it from the final cut “Sequence” menu.

  I try to change de RT in the left side of the sequences window, but it work only for 1 render and I have to change it again for the next times.

  And there is no possibilities to clic on a unlimited RT. (Like I use to have on another computer with the same FCP 4.5)cause there is only.

  –Play base layer only
  and
  –Record to tape (option)

  in that menu…

  but no PlayBack Video Quality choice
  or unlimited RT.

  Is it because I made the wrong setting in FCP audio/video setting
  or maybe because I’m working uncompressed ??

  Tank’s in advance, i’ll apreciate your help
  cause my work is not anymore funny to do.

  Anne-Marie,

  Set your RT to safe, quality to high. If this doesn’t help, trash your prefs or get FCP Rescue (free).
