Hello….I have a completed movie in final cut pro. In the movie there is approx 3 video tracks on top of one-another (the top one is a keyed green screen).

I now want to add effects from After Effects to certain video clips under the green screen clip….Is it possible to somehow do this??? Or should I have added the effects in After Effects before I even imported the clips to FCP???

    Thanks

To export layers from FCP to After Effects you need Automatic Duck. http://www.automiaticduck.com.

    Tony,

Knowing what kind of effect you want to add would help, many things done in AE can be done in FCP, so specifics would help.

http://www.automaticduck.com I do typos all the time too. 🙂

the Duck is the best way to get your FCP projects over to AE. I use it all the time and it’s just solid. You export your Sequence in FCP and it opens up fully intact in AE.
