  • Why are certain fonts not available in FCP?

This has annoyed me for a long time, but i never thought to ask anyone why this is the case….

But some fonts installed on my computer, tho showing up in EVERY OTHER PROGRAM, arent available in FCP.
Don’t tell me to use livetype, motion, or photoshop, cause thats what i tell people to do already… I would like a real answer (from apple) for once.

thx to anyone with a thought about this.

Because they are postscript, and not TrueType. FCP uses truetype fonts.
