  Batch Export Settings

  Hi! I recently ran into a problem with the settings in Batch Export. I’m attempting to export a sequence for Windows Media Player (.wmv), and it won’t save my settings.

  For example, I’ll click on a sequence -> “Batch Export” -> Click on the batch folder ->Settings in Batch Export -> Format WMV-9 -> Options -> Settings for Windows Media -> Change the Bit Rate from the default 230 to 370 -> Click OK -> Click OK again

  I’ll go back and check the settings again, and the Bit Rate has changed back to its default 230 kbps. What’s baffling to me is that I’ve done this before, and it worked just fine. Now, it won’t save my customized settings.

  FYI: WMV-9 doesn’t show up in Compressor, so that’s why I’ve been using Final Cut Pro’s Batch Export.

  I hope all this makes sense. Thanks for any help you can provide.

  If you quit FCP, the next time you open the program you must choose your export settings again.

  Wish it saved them but it doesn’t.
