  Need advice – after syncing audio and video how to . . .

  Working on a large project where video and audio was shot separately. The video was digitized as full tapes (ie 1 hr). Syncing up at the moment by placing each tape in its own sequence and breaking into shots. The audio and video for each shot is then linked.

  Here’s the problem – we thought we could make subclips of each shot and put in browser and then name the shot. Seems to go OK until we try to play the subclip back. The length of the clip reads correctly but the video image turns black.

  Anything to do with the timecodes being so different for the audio and the video? What to do!

  The video was shot as miniDV and the audio on DAT tape. Working as amanorphic PAL.

  Any help and advice please?
