copying text from other apps…
Posted by Marc on October 30, 2006 at 11:06 pmHi everyone,
Is there a quick way to copy and paste text from Microsoft word or any other app, to a text later in AE. I’ve tried with no success.Thanks.

Unfortunately I’m on a PC. Darn! I’m trying to copy Java code into AE text layers without trying to retype it.

October 31, 2006 at 12:25 amMake usre both Word and AE are running. Copy the text from word, then double click on the text layer and past via CTRL+V.
It works. Sometimes.
Some days I can copy from Word to AE, and some days not. I have not figured out the issue yet, but if I shut down AE and restart, this usually solves the issue. Well… sometimes.
Again – no idea why it’s happening.
