  • Corrupted damaged file, Help Muhammad Ali!!!

    Dear Cow-helpers,

PLEASE help. My documentary on Muhammad Ali was being edited and there seems to have been a problem when an external drive was unplugged. Now when I try to open the FCP project file I get a sign that says: ‘Unable to read file. This file appears to be corrupted’…

    HELP!!!

Any helpers will get screen credit on the doc, I swear!

    Many thanks, Tina

Locate your autosave vault and open the last backup.

and start backing up the project file at the end of each edit session,

You might want to run a disk utility of some kind on your drive, but Shane’s advice on doing a save-as is really good.

    Tina,
Disk Warrior from Alsoft is your best bet.
    Cheers
