I have a not so good quality on one of my sequences

I have layed two layers on each other. Reduced both images to 1/3 of their sizes and placed them adjacent to eacth other i.e. two image boxes side by side.

All fully rendered, no nesting . But one of the layers playback is medium quality (same problem when nested too).

    I have a doubt.

My playback video quality in System Settings menu is set to high.

In the RT drop down menu on the top left tab of my sequence I only see medium and low playback video quality. Where is the high quality option?
I never noticed this before. Has it on always been like this?!

    Thanks.

    FCP5.

    1. You must only judge image quality on an external video monitor, not on the computer monitor.

    2. If a reduced-size image has poor-quality, it many times can be improved by adding the “Gaussian Blur” filter adjusted to a setting of between .25 to 1.5 percent. If the image is “zoomed” visually, you can ramp in or out the amount of blur (using key-frames) during the effect.

You should have the option of dynamic and High in addition to the options you already have Be sure to have full quality checked at the bottom But possibly your footage is not high enough quality for the higher playback options
