  Compressor suddenly acting up

  This (Compressor 2) has been working great until today. I’m trying to load an FCP sequence into it, add a setting, then I get the beachball of death. It will not stop. I tossed the Compressor prefs, still doing it.

  G5 Tiger. 2.5 gigs RAM

  Try a self contained version of the program if it’s not… sort of sounds like a bad media file in there causing this, and maybe an export will straighten it out.

  Hey Jerry,

  Funny, all 6 chapters of the video exported okay as QT’s, and I ended up encoding them in Squeeze, and the resulting DVD seems fine. I’m gonna try Compressor again on a different project and see what happens.
