  media manager question

  So I have an FCP project emailed to me and a box of tapes sent over. The project has over 70 hours of footage logged, edited down to 15 minutes. I couldn’t manage to get the media manager to create a new project with “deleted unused media” I tried different variations as per the manual, but decided to manually set in-out points in the log and capture window per clip just to get the job done. I know there must be a way!

  Actually, there’s not… Media Manager assumes that the media is online… so if it’s not, it won’t create what you need. However the fix would have been to export an EDL, reimport that, and capture it..
