  FCP export 8bit uncompressed in Medium Quality?

  I’m mastering several short video features and would like to master them in 8bit uncompressed. The question is why does the option window show the “quality: medium”? There does not seem to be any option to change the quality settings either. How do I know that I have mastered at the highest quality?

  the quality setting is meaningless (and non functional) with an uncompressed codec. no matter what you set it for, no compression performed.
