Shaolin Documentary- LA FCP Editor Wanted
Editor wanted for documentary filmed at the legendary Shaolin Temple in China. The Shaolin Temple is renown as the birthplace of martial arts and Zen, where warrior monks transcended the physical limitations of the body through hard practice and spiritual cultivation. This realistic documentary follows the stories of 2 Chinese and 2 Westerners who came to Shaolin to pursue the fantasy life portrayed in Kungfu movies. But the reality of training is harsh and will test their physical and mental discipline to the limits.
Editor must be in the LA area and have own Mac with Final Cut Pro HD or above. Must have experience with hour plus length documentaries and have a solid understanding of FCP. Understanding of Mandarin is a plus. Work begins in October. Footage is logged, captured and ready to be cut. Project has financing and pay is negotiable.
