One great feature about FCP was that as long as the clips were offline, you can right-click on one clip or a bunch of them in the TRACKS column and a little shortcut menu wouuld pop up and you can change your clip settings (ie. 1V, 2A to 1V, 1A , etc). Well we learned on our series that this feature changed. Right clicking in that column now only brings up “No shortcut.”

Instead now you have to select the clip(s) and go to the Modify Menu and select Clip Settings. This is a bummer. This is something that I feel they didn’t need to modify. Maybe right clicking was too cryptic so they added a menu option, but that’s no need to remove the right clicking option. They can have both.

I used the right click method all the time and people love it when I show them that trick/feature. I don’t know why exactly, but this bums me out.
