  FCP HD Crashes while using Compressor

  Help! I use a powermacG5 4G with Final Cut Pro HD. I am trying to compress a 1hour 31 minute movie with compressor. It’s at least a 4hour job and each time I return to check on it – FCP has crashed and the compressor has failed. Any suggestions on what is causing this frustrating problem?

  What have you done so far? Trashed prefs? Do a partial compression. Just parts of the whole. See if it’s corrupt media giving you fits.
