  someone do a quick test for me ?

  unexpected results today with log and capture & xml export/import with QT7 and FCP5

  i want to test against entirely independent result if anyone can spare a moment

  1.
  open log and capture > clip settings tab
  set audio to 4 channel input
  enable channel 1 and 4 only
  enter an in and out point for the clip and press log clip

  .. first thing, the active log and capture tab immediately changes to the logging tab

  now check the newly logged clip in the browser
  right click and choose clip settings…

  does it show the audio settings you just logged (1 and 4 only) ?
  or has it reverted to 2 channel audio only, or something else ?

  2.
  if necessary, in clip settings, re-adjust the clip settings to audio channel 1 and 4 only
  right click the clip and choose Export > XML… (version2)
  now right click in a new bin in the browser and choose Import >XML…
  select the xml file just exported
  now check the new clip
  right click and choose clip settings…

  does it show the audio settings you had before the export (1 and 4 only) ?
  or has it reverted to 2 channel audio only, or something else ?
