I have an 8 bit uncompressed sequece with
5 layers of rendered graphics. I want to nest it
in a timeline and drop broadcast safe.
I was hoping for a way of not having to render it.
I thought it would be a real time effect.

System; 2.5 dual G5, 4 gig ram 1.4 TB SATA raid

    any suggestions would help

Export the nest as a Quicktime Movie…import the movie…apply the Broadcast Safe filter to the movie. Should work in realtime

    Is this for broadcast?

I shudder at the thought of just dropping on a filter, rendering and calling it done.

Onlining and color correcting and prepping a show for online is not a simple “drag and drop” process.
