I still can’t print completed doc to video because of dropped frames. I tried mixing down 5 audio tracks, selected tracks and performed render mixdown. It took about 20 minutes but tracks are not mixed and now mixdown selection is unavailable. I have tried everthing and MUST deliver this 30 project. HELP.

[old gray mare] “It took about 20 minutes but tracks are not mixed”

You say the “tracks are not mixed”.

But, there will be no visible or audible “change” after an “Audio Mixdown”.
It merely creates a SINGLE rendered stereo audio clip that is easier for the Mac to play than multiple shorter clips.

Again, YOU won’t be able to tell any difference after a mixdown but FCP can.

(If you can’t mixdown, then that means is already been done.)

If a mixdown is not fixing dropped frames, then you may have a bad cable, fragmented or too full drives or bad clips. You can try exporting a QT file and open that in another project which also my work.
