  crossdissolve artifacts

  When in FCP 5, sequence and dissovles look fine. When I go to DVDstudio pro and burn dvd I get these dissove artifacts when viewing on TV.
  I put compression markers in crossdissolve points and export using quicktime with self-contained unchecked, then to compressor 2 standatrd Best 60 min 2 pass.

  That’s Mpeg2 for ya! You get compression artifacts on every DVD. It’s a fact of life with DVD for now.
