• Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy

  A couple of questions here…

  I am expecting my JVC HD100 very soon…I hope.

  The questions:

  1)Is Apple (ANY APPLE REPS OUT THERE READING THIS) coming out with an update that will allow me to take advantage of the HDV 24p capabilities of the camera?

  2)Until then…any suggestions of what shooting settingS I “CAN” shoot at and still edit it with ease in FCP? Other than the standard def DV settings.

  Hey Matte,

  Thanks but I read all that months ago…it still does not address my question.

  Final Cut has been able to edit 24p for awhile, but as I understand it there are JVC specific problems with their version of 24p from the HD100 camera.

  I am trying to find out what I can shoot in that will readily edit in FCP…until Apple or JVC can get a fix to FCP that will allow JVC 24p use. I.E.-can I shoot in 720/30p…etc. and be able to hit the ground running?
