• Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy

  Aspect ratio please help!

  I am able to create the correct aspect ratio in the Log and Capture window but when I put in the sequence and look at the footage once it is captured it is not letterbox. What am I doing wrong and what settings should I have for 16×9 sqeezed footage.

  Check your sequence settings, cmd-0.

  Capture settings are one thing, sequence settings are something different.

  They both need to be set at anamorph.
