Adding Metadata in Compressor 2 – what script?
Hello – I’m about to begin processing a large number of files in Compressor 2 and outputting them as Sorenson 3 Quicktime files. I’d like to be able to add title and author metadata to each file, the title and author will be the same for each file so it should be relatively easy to script. However I have no experience in developing scripts and am looking for some resources that might point me in the right direction towards figuring this out. I do have a developer who will be able to assist me in the technical end of things but I’d like to get some understanding of the process myself.
Ideally I’d like to find a resource that has other scripts written for Compressor 2 with a specific focus on the metadata (obviously). The Compressor 2 manual mentions writing scripts for adding metadata to QT files but does not provide any information on how this is done. Thanks for your time.
