  FCP 5 and Feature Length Project

  Back in 4.5, when you project file got to be more than about 15 MB, FCP got really sluggish and slow. (even with 2 gigs ram allocated and a dual G5) The trick was to split a project into seperate smaller files and open them all concurrently.

  Anyone have any insight for FCP 5? We’re about to start a 2 hour feature edit, would prefer a single project file, but are planning several sub-project files in case it does that sluggish thing.
