• Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy

  camera not recognized as connected

  My camcorder, being used as a tape deck, is not being recognised by both Final Cut Express and FCP (4.1). It used to be recognised,
  Weirdly, iMovie has no problem at all recognising it.
  What preferences am I missing?

  Happens. Try tossing the FCP prefs (although I have never this) and try restarting the computer with nothing plugged into either USB or FW. Sometimes the FW bus just can’t be seen by all apps. Voodoo.
