  What are the true setups of Z1 and JVC HD 100 Pal with FCP 5.0 ?

  Hi there,

  This week resellers bring to us two models. One is HVR Z1 Pal vers. and other one is JVC HD100E Pal vers. I tried both 24 and 25 frame options but I couldn’t capture someting to FCP. Video cameras are in vtr mode. I can play and pause from FCP but I cant capture. Please help me about the subject.

  Mac G5 2.7 4.5 gb ram with FCP 5.0.Mac OSX 10.4.2.
  1280x720p 24FPS or 25 FPS

  I think the Sony should be workable, but the JVD not… should be able to capture HDV natively or using the intermediate codec with the sony camera. I believe the JVC camera uses a short GOP format and FCP wont’ work with it directly. Takes a plugin from Lumiere… https://www.lumierehd.com/

  I tried to install https://www.lumierehd.com/ codec but its not working. What can be the problem ?
