  FCP and Mackie Control Surfaces

  Hi there,

  I’m about to buy the Mackie control Universal for use on my FCPHD system. Two questions…

  1) Has the salesman sold me a dead fish (Ie, will it work properly)

  2) All I seem to be getting is the mixer – there’s no accesories ontop of it – will I need to get anything to make the mixer properly talk to the Mac?

  Any help would be appreciated. First time I’ve tried to hook a mixer into the system.

  Great, I already got me one of them thangs…

  (sorry, been watching too much Deadwood, and am now typing in ‘Western’ speak. Could be worse, could be using some of their more ‘colourful’ language…)
