    Hi,

    I am working on feature and am having Cinema Tools Troubles. We are editing on Final Cut Pro 5 and using Cinema Tools 3.0.2. Here is our workflow.

    Film is shot on Super 16mm and transferred to DV (time code is NDF).

    We import the ALE file into Cinema Tools
    We export an XML Batch file
    We import the XML Batch file in FCP 5
    We batch capture the files at 29.97.

    Opening a clip in FCP’s viewer shows that TC is correct. When we play the files in QuickTime or FCP, the cadence is ABCDD. In Cinema tools, with the same file, the cadence is ABCCD (myself and the editor verified this by looking at the key code printed on the video frame).

    1. Does anyone have any idea what is going on here? We are also finding that a frame’s key code does not match the key code in Cinema Tools’ database (although TC is correct).

    2. When we do a reverse telecine to 23.98 and open a clip in detail view, we have to change the video speed to 24fps. Why isn
