• Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy

  2nd internal HD for editing.

  I have a Dual 2 Ghz G5 with Final Cut Pro 5 HD and have just bought a 500GB Hitachi Deskstar internal Hard Drive. Before I fit it, do I have to use any jumpers on the pins on this second drive?

  I didn’t have to use any jumpers at all with my Hitachi second SATA…

  iMan- No jumpers or pins with SATA. Format from Disk Utility (applications>utilities>Disk Utility).
