  render issues

  we are running into very long rendering problems, particularly with our green screen application, Reflectmedia. playback in unlimited barely works. Our biggest issue is rendering, it seems tobe taking way to long with 6.5 gigs of ram on our dual G5 with an external Lacie 250gig

  also render times are just slower in general .
  any advice or system tweaks to spped this up?

  Only way to speed up renders is a faster CPU. It’s a CPU intensive task, RAM really doesn’t come into play as much at all.
