  Quick time import

  I have an (MPEG 2 muxed) quick time file I would like to import into FCP 5. I have Quick time 7 installed, Can anyone tell me how to bring this file in audio and all.

  Use dvdxdv to convert the file to a format FCP can understand.
  Cinematize should also work, I guess….never tried it.
  If the dvd has copy protection, it’s a different game.

  It is not a dvd. It is a quick time file with the codec MPEG@ MUXED. It was made on a PC.
