  Audio While Going Frame by Frame HELP!

  I’m running FCP 4.5 on a 1.25 Dual G5 running 10.3.9. A feature I’ve always taken for granted seems to have been switched off and I can’t figure out how to get it back. When going frame by frame through the timeline using the arrow key I’ve always been able to hear the audio for each frame. Great for finding that cymbal or snare in the music. Suddenly now when I go frame by frame I can no longer hear the audio. How do I turn it back on? Haven’t been able to find it in any of the preferences. Help!!! Thanks

  “Sounds” like you’ve turned off audio scrubbing.

  Press Shift-s to toggle it on and off.
