    here’s the situation…
    doing a 2 hour recital…
everything seems to be doing great…

    mixed down the audio
    rendered it out…

i’m playing it from the timeline to a dvd-recordable to make a copy.
i have done this plenty of times…
    however—

halfway thru the audio just stops…

    i tried it twice…
it’s stopping roughly at the same spot…

i can’t see any problems with the video…
and if i play the video at the point on the timeline it plays fine.

i do have plenty of color correctors filters on the video…

what types of remedies am i looking at ?

    i run os 10.3.9 g-5 dual 1,.8—-3 g ram

    thanks

    Try this:
Perform another audio “Mixdown” (Sequence menu > Render Only > Mixdown) on your final timeline.
Make sure ALL of your audio tracks are “selected” (highlighted) before you do the mixdown.

Aha! Clearly, there’s something wrong at that spot. Look at all your audio. Look at your picture. What’s funky? Make sure that both audio & picture are fully rendered at that spot. In some, odd occasions, it’s possible for a problem in the picture to effect the audio (& vise versa). Check your luma & chroma levels for spikes near that spot. While you’re at it check the audio for spikes, dropouts, or just general funkiness.

    thanks…
    yeah it’s weird…
it just stops then picks back up…
then the video plays great…but with no audio…

i’ll try a few more times..
the thing that stinks is i can’t see if it works unless i sit there an watch it thru…

and it’s like an hour an a half in…
if i play it some where in the middle…it’ll play fine

    it’s a query
