  Exporting Alpha Channels

  Hi,

  Easy question…I must be stupid, but for some reason I can’t seem to be able to successfully export a clip containing an alpha channel for the life of me. I’ve given an edit in my timeline a rounded mask…want to bring it into another program and lose the black edge from the 4-point mask (keeps the clip’s rounded edges). I’ve exported it as animation etc. uncompressed…no alpha ch. …any thoughts or suggestions? I figure it must be doable, but I see no options or provisions for it.

  Export to QuickTime Movie. Choose a Custom setting that uses the Animation codec with colors set to Millions+.
