  Large image files in FCP

  Is it possible to import larger image files (larger than 720 X 576) into FCP?
  My files seem to be automatically cropped. I want to pan across a static image that is larger than screen size.
  Any assistance appreciated.

  Yes- up to 4000 pixels in either direction.. put in sequence, double click the clip there, then in the motion tab… play with scale and centering…
