FCP5 & DigitalJuice
I purchased ETK 2 & 6 for a project. I started the project in FCP4.5HD, but imported the project into FCP5. I was able to use an Annimated Overlay in 4.5 but when I tried to use it in 5 I could import the clip, place it on the timeline above a video clip, but it would not allow the underlying video through the alpha channel portion. To add my angst, while both entities were pleasant and sympathetic, they both referred me to the other leaving me without help.
So, is there anyone that can solve this problem for me? I’d like to use my ETK clips in 5 like I was able to use it in 4.5Please note that I made the purchase of the ETK’s last week so they are the latest versions of the Digital Juice stuff.

Put the RT Pop Up menu to Safe RT at High Quality and Full Frame Rate. Hope that helps.

Well do they have a return policy in the event their product does not work with FCP 5.
If so send it back immediately to Digital Poop Juice.
Do they expect you to take this crap sitting down?

Thanks Kevin for the suggestion, but I still have a problem. I couldn’t find a PopUp menu. But I did see a system settings area. I went in there and the Playback Control settings are now RT-Safe; Video Quality High (it was dynamic). But even after I made those changes, my JumpBack overlays still didn’t allow the video on the track below to show through their alpha portions. I’m so frustrated. I don’t understand why it works in FCP 4.5HD, and when I purchased this new SOA FCP 5 it doesn’t. The real frustrating thing is I can’t just go back to FCP 4.5 and open up this project. I hope you have some other suggestions because Apple said they didn’t have jumpbacks and couldn’t help. Thanks
