  Commotion error- “Can’t connect to backgroud process…”

  Just got a new G5 w/ Tiger 10.4.1 installed- installed FCP 4.5HD with DVD Studio Pro 3, Motion 1 etc…- works great until I go to exporting via Compressor from FCP. It open up the compressor program, loads the project into the control window, allows me to set the compression settings & destination, then when I Submit the batch I get the error: “Can’t Connect to background process”. HELP…

  I have the same error on a clean install of Final Cut Studio on a clean install of tiger. It’s a dual 2.5 G5 with 4GB of ram. Any fixes? I dealt with this issue with the old compressor and that fix is all over the web, but I haven’t seen anything addressing this issue in the new releases of the OS and FCP. thanks!
