  Quicktime reference file – not working in FCP5?

  Since upgrading to Tiger and Final Cut Studio, a quicktime feature seems to be completely out of whack.

  When i export from my timeline – which is completely rendered – using the “Quicktime” option, in previous versions this was a very quick way to make a reference file (without “self-contained” media)

  However, this feature seems to now grind to a halt, and takes almost as long as making a “self-contained” file.

  anyone have any clue here?

  Dual G5 – 2GHZ, FCP5 and Tiger
